AristideTorchia Posted November 29, 2024 Posted November 29, 2024 This was no doubt mentioned somewhere already, but seeing as I have been experiencing similar issues in Photo v1 for years and across different computers and equally AMD and nvidia GPUs, it needs to be pointed out. 1. When working in Publisher V2, switching to Photo module often results in temporary freeze and beach ball. 2. While in Photo module: a. toggling the brush panels on/off results in long spinning beach ball b. switching brush sizes, making strokes, undoing and similar brush-oriented actions often result in few-second long spinning beach ball EDIT: Please note that toggling brush panel on/off in the same fashion when in the Designer module does not cause any issues, so likely something specifically to do with your pixel layer engine as opposite to vectors. Currently, this behaviour occurs both with and without metal acceleration, on a very fast machine (11 i7 CPU, 64gb ram, RS6800xt 16gb, 7000 r/w nvme ssd) Quote

AristideTorchia Posted December 9, 2024 Author Posted December 9, 2024 What good timing we both have, Walt… I'd literally just peeked here for the first time since posting to find your answer as I was about to report – with great relief – that the issue appears to have finally been dealt with, with the newest update in place. My god that was long overdue! Quote
