How do I unlink a page and relink it again in Affinity Publisher?

In one of my documents, a page occurs - page 43 that jumps to page 46. While page 43 still has text which does not fit on the page. This should normally end up on page 44. 

How do I unlink page 43 to page 46 and relink it to page 44, where the text belongs? What exactly did I do wrong to cause this?

You should be able to:

1. Click on that blue triangle on the lower right edge of page 43, and the cursor should change into a deletion cursor (with a red X in it). Then
2. Click on that triangle again to delete the link. Then
3. Click on the red triangle to start making a new link. Then.
4. Click inside the Text Frame on page 44.
