walt.farrell
Unfortunately, that kind of error generally indicates that the data files are corrupted and requires a Reset of the application. Was this a fresh installation of Designer 2 for the iPad, or a recently updated installation? Do the Vector Brushes in the Designer Persona work? If the same error occurs after you completely close and restart Designer (so you get the Splash Screen when it starts), and especially if it happens after you also Restart the iPad, you can do a Reset by following this procedure: Make sure Designer 2 is closed fully. Start it, and when you get the Splash Screen quickly tap it twice with a single finger. You should get a Clear User Data dialog. One of the options in that dialog will be to reset the brushes. Choose that option, and tap the Reset button near the bottom of the dialog. You will then need to reinstall any brush categories you had installed manually, or any brushes you had modified.
