When I am exporting things, I am getting different colors (much brighter) than I made it with. Something is up, because it seems to depend on settings in a way I can't figure out. For example if I export PDF to PDF/X-4, the colors come out correctly, but if I use the Digital-high quality setting, they are far too bright. JPEG is just always coming out too bright. I need to know how to make outputs actually look like they are supposed to, or I can't use Affinity.

EDIT: It appears that I have to be much more careful with my inital color settings. CMYK does not seem to convert to RGB for export very well; if the document isn't in RGB mode in document setting->color, the colors come out all wrong on export to formats that expect RGB. Never had this issue with Adobe; stuff just always came out correctly no matter what the format settings in the document itself.

Without a document example, it is hard to tell what causes the confusion, but if your document is in CMYK color mode, the following screenshot might help to realize some basics of Affinity color spaces (the screenshot is converted to sRGB on the forum so the CMYK gamut comparison is pretty much lost):

You can avoid that conversion by attaching a zipped version of the screenshot file.

I have tried to upload a zip file now 6 or 7 times, without luck. Perhaps there is a glitch (uploading halts always somewhere in the 50% state), or something wrong with the server...

UPDATE [Oct 21] Odd: uploading directly a .tiff file is fine (while trying to upload a zip file still fails). I hope that it is a pure binary transfer and not altered in any way.
