Running APub 1.10.8 on MacOS Ventura 13.7.

I have dozens of files that I can open and work on with no problem. However, I have one file that invariably crashes APub whenever I try to open it. I spent 8 hours on this file and don't want to lose it! HELP!

I'm attaching the report it generated when it crashed. It means nothing to me, but maybe it means something to someone on this forum? I hope so.

Also attaching the file if that helps.

I don't know why it is crashing - it did for me, too - but you can rescue this document.

  1. Create a new document of the same size (6x8.5"). Make it facing pages if the original is facing pages.
  2. Make the new document 2 pages long, this is important
  3. Choose Document > Add Pages From File and select the original document. A dialog will open but just click OK to import all pages.
  4. Delete pages 1-2, these are the blank ones you created with the document.
  5. Save the new document and you'll be good to go.

Wow! That is one neat trick I will have to remember.

You are a life saver, MikeTO. Thanks for taking the time and thanks for giving me something that works.

Cheers right back at ya.
