mbalent Posted October 11, 2024 Posted October 11, 2024 Okay, so there are a zillion how to's on setting up text flow but.... everyone misses a simple task... How do you change it once you have it set up? Say you need to insert a page between two pages with text flow. How do you then change the flow from Page 1 to the new Page 2 instead of the 'old' Page 2 (which is now Page 3)? Quote
MikeTO Posted October 11, 2024 Posted October 11, 2024 To add a new frame C between frames A and B: Click the Text Flow Out control on frame A Click anywhere on frame C Quote Download a free PDF manual for Affinity Publisher 2.6 Download a quick reference chart for Affinity's Special Characters Affinity 2.6 for macOS Sequoia 15.5, MacBook Pro (M4 Pro) and iPad Air (M2)
thomaso Posted October 11, 2024 Posted October 11, 2024 Alternatively, if the master pages don't change across the document, you can insert the additional text within the current text flow. Then use the option to have Affinity automatically create missing/required pages at the end of the document via Shift-click.
