HannahE
Hi, I am a new user of Affinity Designer and I trying to figure the program as a non-experienced user. How do I center an object to the document I am working with?
Staff MEB Posted July 5, 2016 Staff Share Posted July 5, 2016 Hi HannahE, Welcome to Affinity Forums :) Make sure you have snapping enabled (with Snap to Spread and Include spreadd mid points checked), then drag the object to the center of the page (see screenshot). You should see a green smart guide (vertical alignment) and a red smart guide (horizontal alignment) when the object snaps to the center of the Spread/document. Alternatively, with the object selected you can also go to menu Layer ▸ Alignment ▸ Align Middle and then Layer ▸ Alignment ▸ Align Centre.
