Britain
Hi, I have a file with various line drawings on separate artboards. I need to export each drawing as an svg but the last 3 artboards are causing problems. When exporting, the lines seem to be automatically expanding and making strange shapes. When I expand them manually its doing the same thing. I need these drawings for a company brochure asap and I have no idea how to fix this problem. Is there some kind of setting that I'm missing or is this a bug?
GarryP
Would you be able to share the Affinity document? If you don’t want to (or cannot) share the whole document (for whatever reason), can you share a cut-down version containing just the curves (before you expand them) that are causing you problems? I notice that the corners of the ‘triangle’ in your image seem to have multiple nodes, and that might be a symptom of something, but we would need to be able to experiment with the actual layer(s) to find out. Britain
Hi GarryP, Thanks for getting back to me. I actually just figured it out after opening the file on my ipad. There was a rogue node on the pressure graph. Deleting this fixed the problem completely. walt.farrell, Alfred and GarryP
GarryP
Thanks for telling us what the root problem was and how you fixed it (a tricky one to catch was that one). Hopefully that might help other people with similar problems.
