Can't select Lens Profile

Recommended Posts

I commented it in other thread but decided to submit this bug here with more details.

I am on latest OSX 14.6.1 and Affinity Photo 2.5.5.

For some reason I can't select anymore lens profile (Serif Labs engine).

Depends if I am loading raw file which is supported or not and depends on the setting in Assistant "Auto Select Lens profile"

* If supported raw and auto select on - lens is selected but I can't click into the button to change, button inactive

* If supported raw and auto select off - lens is not but I can't click into the button to change to the supported lens, button inactive

* If not supported raw and auto select  on or off - lens is not selected and I can't choose any, button inactive

Actually it used to work, but now it stopped.

Welcome to the forums @Rafał Zawadzki,

Do you have an external/secondary display connected to your Mac which Photo 2 is positioned on? There's a known issue currently logged where the lens corrections dropdown will either fail to appear or can appear cropped on the other display. Try moving the Photo 2 window to a different display such as your primary display and then see if the dropdown then functions.

Very strange, but actually moving to different display makes it works,  however it's somehow detached from the dropdown.  Thanks a lot. Is fix for this on the roadmap anyone knows btw?

Yeah it can also depend on the arrangement of the displays as to where the dropdown appears, it's quite an unusual bug. It is logged with the developers and i've bumped it with your report so hopefully we'll see it fixed in a later version of the apps, but it's not something we can provide a timeframe for.

This thread is tagged with the issue ref so the Affinity info bot will reply here if there are any updates.
