nik collection plugins greyed out on mac

Hi,

I have installed Nik Collection and during set up it auto installed plugins into affinity photo. I have a pixel layer and have rasturised and trimed it, but the only plugin that is available is HDR effects pro 2. The rest of the plugins are greyed out. Can anyone help with this please?

Hi @fishbloodstiffs,
Welcome to Affinity Forums
You need to convert the document to RGB/8 or RGB/16 for the plugins become available/work. Most of them don't work with 32 bit images. To do it go to menu Document > Convert Format / ICC Profile and select RGB/8 or RGB/16 in the Colour Format dropdown (first one on top).

Thank you to MEB for this solution.  I had the same problem and was struggling to find an answer until I found this post.
