johnnyfair
I have a new pc on which I loaded Photo 2 today and have not been able to get past this issue after attempting repair, uninstall and re-install. Also saw tip in forum to disable hardware acceleration and tried that with same results (crash). Windows 11 Pro with all patches up to date. No other problems with this pc. Nvme ssd, intel i3-1215u, 16gb ram. Intel integrated graphics running at 1440p. Photo 2 opens fine but crashes while loading image files. Tried 4 or 5...jpg, CR3, DNG...all crash after several seconds pass while the app shows "Loading...." I will try installing Photo v1 and report how that goes. I tried my normal habit of Ctrl O to open the file, and also tried going to File, then open, also tried open recent...all methods work the same. App tries to load then crashes after a few seconds. johnnyfair
Walt, thanks for your help. New driver from Intel resolved the issue and I am happy/satisfied. Windows 11 thought their driver version was the best and Lenovo offered an older driver than Microsoft. walt.farrell
