Hiring Requirement - Proficiency in Adobe

Recommended Posts

I prefer working with Affinity. It’s similar to Adobe, and in many ways, much better. However, most workplaces prefer Adobe, and collaboration often requires using Adobe since its the industry standard. Many companies even list Adobe as a job requirement for designers.

The main issue is due to Affinity Designer doesn't allow saving files in .ai format. While there are workarounds to convert the files, it adds unnecessary complications. As much as I'd like to remove Adobe from my workflow, I can't fully do so until Affinity supports .ai file saving.
