Preflight pdf - Output Preview (Separations and Ink Total Area Coverage) and Preflight (Gloss, Newsprint)

Hello, does anybody have experience with ads for magazines and newspapers created with Affinity Publisher that have to be exported and supplied as PDF? I currently use Adobe Acrobat Pro - Print Production - Output Preview to check everything is in CMYK and the CMYK separation % and total ink density. Also use Adobe Preflight profiles to check for gloss magazine and newsprint errors. Affinity's own preflight only checks the Affinity document, not the PDF. The export to PDF can change things in my experience. My Acrobat Pro is an old version that won't run if I upgrade my Macbook. Is there any alternative for checking the above without subscribing to Acrobat Pro? Happy to pay, but it seems expensive when I only need to check a couple of ads per month. Ipad options even better for flexibility when travelling. Many thanks.

Thank you @prophet Many of the replies from @lacertowere blanked out and I didn't understand much of the technical code conversation. it appears Callas has the only perpetual licence software that does what I need. Thank you for replying.

I'm lucky enough to qualify for PACKZVIEW which is adequate for my pre-press needs. I have an old laptop with Acrobat X for the rare use case, but actually haven't needed it for many moons.
