Akut_Luna
Hi I want this idea of a vine that wraps around a pole. I created the vine by drawing a curve in a wavy line and then reducing the width at one end to 0. Now I need to hide parts of the vine so that it looks like the vine is wraping around the pole, but I don't know how to achive that. This is how it looks now: And this is how it should look (I made this with a rasterised version of the vine and a normal mask in affinity photo.) GarryP
The Shape Builder Tool in Designer should do most of what you want. See attached video. 2024-09-02 12-24-13.mp4 Akut_Luna

BTW, in this case you could use the same method with resized copies of the "pole" object. However, both ways may not work with the expected precision if the "pole" has a stroke assigned (as apparently in your screenshots).
