blitz999 Posted August 18 Share Posted August 18 In all apps, press and holding the screen keyboard space bar creates a trackpad to guide the cursor. In Affinity ipad apps, the trackpad is being created, but the cursor goes to the top left corner of the screen and you can’t track the cursor to the desired location. the other issue, perhaps related, is that usually, auto suggested words that shiw above the keyboard can be tapped to add to your text. walt.farrell Posted August 19 Share Posted August 19 When Serif is confident of the quality of the beta (after they finish internal testing and see what we customers are reporting from the beta test) they will release a formal 2.5.5 update. They have said they hope it will be a short beta test cycle, but only Serif knows when they might release the formal version. In the meantime, you could sign up for the beta and install it to get the function immediately, but given the likely short nature of this beta cycle, that may night be worth it.
