RTL text is not functional

Hello,

 

Arabic text (and other RTL text such as Hebrew) is not rendered correctly.

 

It is rendered 'back to front'.

 

Here is an example picture.

 

The correct rendering is shown in the LibreOffice window.

 

It is also correct in the Affinity "Layer" panel.

 

On the canvas itself, it is back to front.

I'm afraid we don't support RTL scripts currently. We will probably add it eventually, but not for a long while.

Will that also be the case with your upcoming Affinity Publisher?
