befehr Posted June 29, 2016 Share Posted June 29, 2016 When I add a 100% gaussian blur effect to an object I can see what I can only describe as some kind halo or banding. Changing the document bit depth from 8 to 16 bits (menu Document ▸ Colour Format) will help on those situatio (although may not solve them completely). Additionally adding some Noise usually helps to spread the gradient's transitions a little better fixing the banding issue.
