pioneer Posted July 21, 2024 Posted July 21, 2024 Not really a question about the use of the programs so please forgive me. I use my Affinity programs on my iPad as well as my PC, I find on many occasions when working in either environments I write written notes on scraps of paper which end up getting tidied away or lost. I would like to use a digipad similar to a Digimemo tablet (which is a bit long in the tooth now). Does anybody use this sort of tablet and what sort of recommendations do people have. Alfred Posted July 21, 2024 Posted July 21, 2024 Why not use the Notes app on your iPad? Quote Alfred Affinity Designer/Photo/Publisher 2 for Windows • Windows 10 Home/Pro Affinity Designer/Photo/Publisher 2 for iPad • iPadOS 17.5.1 (iPad 7th gen)
pioneer Posted July 23, 2024 Author Posted July 23, 2024 @Alfred thought of this, but just scribbling a note on a bit of paper or some sort of digipad is far more convenient. sadly the ipad (not the one in my signature) I would use does not support an apple pencil. The Notes app is — or can easily be used as — “some sort of digipad”. If the iPad in question doesn’t support an Apple Pencil you can use any capacitive stylus (which could be your finger). I bought a twin-pack version of this Meko stylus for the same price as the current RRP of the single one, but that was six years ago.
