Ken S Posted June 16, 2024 Posted June 16, 2024 Hi all, is it possible to lock the width of a column or depth of a row in the Table editor? Quote
GarryP Posted June 16, 2024 Posted June 16, 2024 If by “lock” you mean create the situation wherein neither the user nor the software can change that setting until it is ‘unlocked’ again, then the answer is no. Quote
h_d Posted June 16, 2024 Posted June 16, 2024 If you put an empty table on a master page and adjust the width of the columns and the depth of the rows as desired, you can then switch to document page editing and enter text independently in the table on all the pages to which that master has been applied. The only way to modify the dimensions of the rows and columns from the individual document pages would be if you chose Master Page>Edit Detached. The downside of this is of course that if you wanted different dimensions for the table rows and columns on different pages, you'd need a different master for each document page. Amitashi Posted October 17, 2024 Posted October 17, 2024 Hold Shift during resizing certain column or row to keep sizes of others. Use arrows to delete last column to keep sizes of other columns. Quote
