I´m on a job where I have to create a lot of repeating pattern. I have done this "manually" and copy/paste and all that.. but yesterday I saw a video where someone was using artboards, creating one artboard as a symbol and spread it out on another artboard for preview..

But my question, how on earth do I get rid of the names? When I multply the artboards, the names follows and disturb the design.

I have tried to see some tutorials on YouTube but no luck yet 🙂 Any tips? If I try to rename with an open space, I get an annoying gray "."

PS(This screenshot is just because I´trying and failing) Final design will look a lot more cool ;-)

Anyone?

The way round the name issue is to create a grid of blank "artboard" symbols and have one spare as the design symbol, take a look at this tutorial/video to help guide you.
