Dan C Posted June 10, 2024 Posted June 10, 2024 Following the release of Affinity 2.4, the Affinity suite now supports 32-bit PNG import/export. You can find out more about support for this format here - https://affinityspotlight.com/article/how-to-produce-high-dynamic-range-on-screen-graphics-in-affinity-photo/ And a video tutorial here - As 32-bit workflows required colour managed applications end-to-end, some users may be exporting to PNG32-bit unintentionally which can result in the created file appearing dark or 'washed out'. To resolve this, you will either need to convert the documents colour space before or during exporting, to a more common colour space that does not require colour managed applications, in order for an image viewer to display the export as expected. The most common format for image files is RGB 8-bit, sRGB IEC61966-2.1, though the exact Colour Space / ICC profile required for your document may vary. To convert the image before exporting: Desktop Affinity Photo - Document > Convert Format / ICC Profile Desktop Affinity Designer / Affinity Publisher - File > Document Setup > Colour iPad Affinity Photo / Affinity Designer - Document > Convert Document iPad Affinity Publisher - Document > Document Setup > Colour To convert the image during exporting: Open the Export dialog (File > Export on Desktop, Document > Export on iPad) Change the Pixel Format option from Use Document Format to the required bit-depth.
