Swehunt Posted June 5, 2024 Posted June 5, 2024 I just updated Affinity photo. Now I running 2.5.2 och Mac OS 14.2 When I start Affinity photo I can't move the main windows, to solve that problem I chose "Window/Zoom" and then "Float to view to window" and then "Window/Merge all windows" then it seems to work again, very annoying. I started editing a file in Capture One (16.4.0.48) and chose edit in Affinity Photo, everything is fine the file opens up in Affinity photo. I spend an hour editing the file and when I invoked a plugin (Nik Collection 7, Color Efex) Affinity photo crashed, and there is no recover file when I start Affinity photo again. At least I'm not offered to use one (where can I find them if there is one?) I would like to uninstall the lastest patch (2.5.2) is it possible or do I have to reinstall 2.4.2 ? Quote

At least I'm not offered to use one When you start the application, you will be offered recovery files if you were working on any new (unnamed, never saved) files. But if you were working on named files, you are not offered the recovery opportunity until you try to open those specific files. 1 hour ago, Swehunt said: where can I find them if there is one? If any are available they would be in your autosave folder. Try looking in ~/Library/Application Support/Affinity Photo 2/autosave / (and note that this is not the system /Library/... but your personal ~/Library/... as this confuses some users) 1 hour ago, Swehunt said: I would like to uninstall the lastest patch (2.5.2) is it possible or do I have to reinstall 2.4.2 ? You have to uninstall, and then reinstall.
