Hello guys!! I am having problems when creating my brushes, since once created when I apply them to the design, you can see a semi-transparent outline of the color of the brush and it does not give a pleasant appearance, I have already done countless tests and in the end the result It is always the same, I don't know if it is some configuration in the Affinity settings that needs to be changed. I would appreciate any help to solve this situation, since it is impossible for me to create my personal brushes having this problem. Thank you very much in advance.

Welcome to the Affinity forums.

Can you show us the brush details (brush editing dialog)? I think it will be difficult to provide a definite answer with just a screenshot of the brush results.

My guess is the image from which you created the Textured Intensity Brush is very dark grey instead of pure black where the brush is intended to be transparent, and so the brush is slightly opaque where it should be transparent.

Hello Walt and Lepr!! Thank you very much for the welcome, and responding to me. I already solved the problem right now when I went to take the screenshots to send to you. The problem is that to make the brushes the format must be in RGB instead of CMYK, so that the brush is left without that semi-transparent outline it simply must be created in RGB, here I share a screenshot with you.

Someone had already told me the same thing as Lepr, but I was clear that that would not be the problem because I made sure that the black background was 100% black. Thank you both very much for answering my question, luckily I was able to solve it. Although I confess something, I had been suspicious about the color format, and when I did the tests I never solved it, because I always created the brushes in the CMYK format, and then I changed the format to RGB and when I applied the brush, it still came out with the outline semi-transparent, but I never tried creating the brush in the RGB format, that was always my mistake.

Thank you guys!!! Now if someone has the same problem as me, it is possible to tell them what to do.
