Dear,

I try to add an image frame to insert an image in a normal page of my magazine but the frame seems to be defined as part of a master page as the symbols at the corners and in the middle of each side is not a circle O but a X.

How is it possible ? What's the cause? How to solve ?

Regards,
Frank

It will show up that way if you insert it into a Text Frame that is in the Master Page layer. And that can happen if you start drawing the Picture Frame with your mouse over the Text Frame. Or if you Pin the frame into the text.

You can draw it outside the text frame and move it over the frame.

Or you can right-click the Master Page later and Edit Detached if you need to adjust the size or position of the Picture Frame. It you can drag it out of the Master Page layer.
