I have just updated my Affinity v 2.44 to v 2.5 (auto-update after opening the software) and I wanted to test featured and better import of .dwg files. The result is shown on attached pictures - imported file has messed curves- many of the curves were changed to straight lines - overall totally noc expected result not consistent with original .dwg file.
I attached my test .dwg file  and also the afdesign file with two groups (comparison).

To be moentioned - my Affinity Publisher  V 2.4 still imports the same .dwg properly

The issue "[User file] DWG import (polylines) fails in v2.5 (regression)" (REF: AF-3255) has been fixed by the developers in internal build "2.5.3.2514".
This fix should soon be available as a customer beta and is planned for inclusion in the next customer release.
Customer beta builds are announced here and you can participate by following these instructions.
If you still experience this problem once you are using that build version (or later) please reply to this thread including @Affinity Info Bot to notify us.
