I am noticing more and more unexplainable bugs in Affinity Photo. I am working on a simple selection and have soft edges turned on. When I copy the selected portion to a new layer it creates a very thick border around the new layer. I can no longer make a good selection with soft edges turned on. These programs are becoming unusable.

I've not noticed a change in the Soft Edges results, but maybe I'm missing something. Please provide an example of this 'very thick' border so readers know exactly what you mean instead of having to guess [and probably guessing wrongly].

Thanks, Lepr. I copied part of a pixel layer by selecting and creating a layer with that selection. There was a border/outline added to the selection that I could not edit or alter in any way. Making a new selection and placing it on a new layer gave the same result. I haven't been able to duplicate the issue upon opening a new file. I wish I could explain it better. I will post more or better information if it happens in a new project. I won't usually post examples from projects I am working on for other people. Some issues seem to be project-specific.
