Pbj Posted May 24, 2024 Posted May 24, 2024 I have several png QR codes (set to only K) in my layout and they are really crisp no matter the zoom in affinity(2.4). As soon as I export the layout to CMYK they get washed out in the exported PDF. I am clueless what to do, as I really don't have the time to replace every QRc with a SVG version. Any tips? Is this a bug, because I remember png QR codes always were easy to migrate to cmyk with the k only option. Quote
Old Bruce Posted May 24, 2024 Posted May 24, 2024 You may be confusing Rich Black which uses all four inks (CMYK) with Black only which uses only the K channel and therefore looks "washed out". Another thing is that you may have Rich Black and you are looking at the Black channel which will be less than 100% ink. I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.
