I have a publication with more than 100 pictures that are placed within text frames using text wrapping. I set the stroke size of the picture frames to .5 and want to change this to .3. How can I do this without having to adjust the setting for each picture frame individually?

I think it’s worth noting here, for anyone reading this, that a Stroke on a Pixel Layer will not be visible.

You can see the Stroke on:

  • an Image Layer, or;
  • an Image Layer in a Picture Frame, or;
  • an Image Layer which is Pinned to a Frame Text Layer.

But you cannot see the Stroke on a Pixel Layer, no matter where it is – see attached image where the Pixel Layer in the lower Picture Frame has a Stroke added to it but the Stroke cannot be seen.

However, you can ‘get round this’, to some extent, if you:

  • put a Pixel Layer in a Picture Frame and give the Picture Frame a Stroke, or;
  • clip a Pixel Layer within a Shape and give the Shape a Stroke.

Note: If you add a Stroke to an Image Layer and then Rasterise the Image Layer you will get a Pixel layer which includes the Stroke within its pixels.
