Crash with Text Styles Editor (split)

I am having the same issue , I am using the latest updates for Affinity (2.4.2) and Mac OS (Sonoma 14.5), and every time I want to create a new paragraph style or edit a paragraph style, Affinity Publisher stops responding and I need to force it to quit and reopen. I have restarted multiple times and the issue persists.

This is a huge problem as I am completing a client project on a deadline and need the applications to work reliably.

@Henriette_C Welcome to the forums.

I'd first recommend resetting the app to default settings.

With the app closed
Hold down the CTRL key and open the app
When the options appear, release the key, leave the default options checked and click Clear. The app will continue to load, please check to see if this resolves the issue for you. 
(On the reset options, there's an option to Reset Text Style, this can also be toggled on before Clearing. However if you have created any custom text styles, these will be lost as part of the reset process.)

Also, is this happening on any document, even new?
