At first blush, this is what seems to be happening...

  • In the first video, the Stroke of the ‘donor’ layer has “Scale with object” set to ON.
  • When you paste the style to the ‘recipient’ layer the stroke size is scaled as appropriate to the smaller size of that layer.

If this is what’s happening then I think it’s expected behaviour.
To stop the stroke from scaling just turn “Scale to object” OFF before you copy (and then turn it back ON again if needed).

ok, now it works, but, in the bottom left corner button I have scaling with object deactivated, shouldn't this button force the activation or deactivation of the button in the top right corner?

I believe the Scaling control in the Transform Panel is for the Document Scaling, which is a separate thing to the “Scale to object” control in the Stroke Panel.
