Hi,

I have a publisher file I am trying to export for kdp as an ebook.  The book has layers of graphics and the only export option I have been able to use to get rid of the layers lines so they don't show in a pdf is the paperback settings.  The problem with this is that the pdf flatten and pdf-x1a settings don't allow for saving hyperlinks.  How do I get this to export as a digital pdf file without lines showing up where my layers are crossing if I can't flatten it?

Thanks,

Kelly

Hi Kellylynn,

Please could you provide a screenshot showing the layer lines you are referring to? This should allow me to investigate this further with you.

Thanks

Hi,

I attached a screenshot of the export settings and another where you can see a faint gray line on the pdf. With any digital export I get a variety of these lines showing up.  It also shows in the kindle create previewer when it's uploaded there.

Thanks for any assistance! @Callum

@Callum Sorry, forgot to tag you in the above message.

Apologies for missing this, would you be able to provide a copy of the file in question by uploading it to the following DropBox link? This will allow me to try some things here at my end.
