Hi there,

I have just stitched a number of scanned jpeg images together in Panorama. I now want to send this  via drop box to a third party.

Initially I tried to email it to them, but it was too large a file, so Google shared it with the them on my Google Drive. However, the recipient cannot open as it is an affinity file. They need it in jpeg or tiff format.

What is the best way to convert the stitched affinity file into a jpeg or tiff file?

Many thanks in advance!

(Ah, I see a moderator had already moved the thread while I was typing this.)

This section of the forums (and some others) is specifically for the beta versions of the software.

Is this question specifically related to the beta software and the changes in those versions of the software in some way?

@Linda Noone

Your post is now in the appropriate section of the forums!

For your friend to be able to view your panorama you need to Export it, not simply Save it.  You find this option under the File menu.

Where should I post this?

No harm done, it just helps when things are in the right place, for both we users and Serif.

If you are not using the beta software then it’s best to try and steer clear of the beta sections of the forums, unless you want to start getting involved with the beta testing that is.

If you look near the top of the page you will see some ‘breadcrumbs’ which tell you where you are in the forums.

For instance, this thread is currently in: Home > Affinity Support > Affinity Support & Questions > Affinity on Desktop Questions (macOS and Windows)

This means that the thread is in the ‘normal’ place to ask questions about the Desktop software.

If you see the word ‘beta’ anywhere in those ‘breadcrumbs’ then, unless you want to discuss the beta software, you’re probably in the wrong place.

To find the right place in the forums, go to the Home page and then scroll down until you find a link which looks about right.
If you have scrolled down to where it says “Beta Software Forums” then you’ve probably scrolled too far.

Like I said, you’ve not done anything bad, you just happened to create the thread in the wrong section of the forums.
It’s not a big deal and please don’t worry about it.
