Hi, I'm used to photoshop magic wand tool and trying tou figure out how to do the same in Affinity Photo...

I have a layer with lines (pixel, not vector), and I'm trying to select some area with the magic wand. For most of it (for those enclosed by lines) everything goes perfectly. But I cannot manage to select area which are enclosed by some lines and the edge of the picture frame (see image attached for example).

It is like the tool does not consider the edge of the picture frame as a boundary.

For the image attached (blue round shape = where I click):

2.png = the issue when I'm trying to select the bottom part

Hi @DamCar,

Welcome to the Affinity Forums and sorry to see you're having trouble - our apologies for the delayed response here over the bank holiday weekend!

Can you please provide a copy of your .afphoto file here, so that we can investigate this issue further? As I cannot see a clear reason for this in your screenshots provided.

If you'd like a private upload link for this file, please don't hesitate to ask.

Many thanks in advance :)
