Hello,

With Affinity Photo, I notice empty square box when using merge or rasterize on my file.

It's works when I disable accelerated graphic card option in pref.

Cf. affinity file to reproduce this bug with also 2 videos record to illustrate it.

I'm on windows 11 with a 4090 gpu (driver studio 546.01)

Thank you,

Julien

Hi @julca and welcome to the forums.

Some hardware combinations (CPU, GPU, RAM, motherboard) can lead to incompatibilities, so that the hardware acceleration does not work with the Affinity programs. As you have already noticed yourself, deactivating hardware acceleration will help.

Hello @Komatös,

Thank you for your return.

Does it means this problem would never be corrected by the dev team because of his nature ?

No, it does not mean that it will not be fixed. It's just that because there are so many hardware combinations, it's almost impossible to find a solution. As far as I know, Serif is in close contact with the graphics card manufacturers.
But no one can guarantee that a solution will be found.

Ok, thank you for explanations.
