I am struggling to make a cutout within an object and keep its vector when exported in Affinity Designer for iPad. I use the ‘Erase’ layer blend mode, however when exported to SVG it has a white background/fill. How do I fix this? I have IMG_1894.thumb.png.2fa8c730fe325db0cfc3e3f1ca108416.pngattached a simple example of what I am trying to do.

Welcome to the Serif Affinity Forums, @Kota. :)

As you’ve discovered, using a blend mode gives you a raster result. To keep it vector, use the ‘Subtract’ geometry operation instead.
