How do I import excel for mac table data into an Affinity Publisher v2 table?

I did a find in Publisher Manual Feb 26 2024.pdf - just got TOC info.

Figured it out place>using Table tool

Didn't work @ryan1969. It just plops all data into the first APub 2.4.2 cell of the table.  Still selecting the table tool then place>excel data>drag out table works fine.

Issue with data import in APub 2.4.2 where all data is being placed into the first cell of a table. This could be a bug or a feature that’s not working as expected. If I color excel rows with a theme can I import into Apub? Could find any Affinity format presets.
