jsampson45 Posted April 6, 2024 Posted April 6, 2024 I am looking at a tutorial about pixel brushes but unfortunately it seems to be about Affinity Designer v.1. It says "Open the brushes panel (View>Studio>Brushes)". In Version 2, what should I do instead? More generally, are there maps of the UIs of version 1 and version 2 so that one can compare the UIs and translate instructions for v.1 to apply to v.2? Quote
GarryP Posted April 6, 2024 Posted April 6, 2024 The menu selection of “View → Studio → Brushes” in V1 can be found via menu selection “Window → Brushes” in V2. There’s no ‘version functionality map’ that I know of: you just have to read the release notes in the Help to keep up-to-date with changes as they happen. Quote
jsampson45 Posted April 6, 2024 Author Posted April 6, 2024 Thanks. Deselecting and then reselecting "Brushes" in the "Window" menu revealed the brushes panel. I had not guessed that manoeuvre until now. Quote
GarryP Posted April 6, 2024 Posted April 6, 2024 You’re not the only one to get 'caught out' by that change but something like it had been requested by quite a few people to make it easier to open the Panels (two clicks instead of three). Quote
