MarioDM
Hi all, is it possible to make a gradient with Global Colours? Every time I try to add a Global Colour to a gradient Affinity crashes. Edited March 27 by MarioDM misspelling
GarryP
Welcome to the forums @MarioDM It seems to be working okay for me – see attached video. If you can give us more details of your set-up (OS+version, application+version, etc.), and tell us which tools you are using and how you are using them, then someone should be able to give better advice. 2024-03-28 08-48-46.mp4
MarioDM
Thanks GarryP, I tried your way and that works, but it seems like if you drag the colour on the slider Affinity Crashes. Screen Recording 2024-03-28 at 11-22-11.mp4
GarryP
I’ve never tried to do that, and didn’t know it was supposed to work, so that’s a new one on me, but doing so also crashes V2.4.1 on Windows 10. (Dragging to apply the colour as a non-gradient fill seems to work okay.) I would try it the way I did it if I were you and report this as a bug in the meantime. MarioDM
Thanks for confirming! Yeah, your way works fine and is even easier, so I'll use that in the future. Happy to report the bug, I'm just wondering if there's a dedicated bug report section, seems weird to post a bug under questions?
