Stalling & Lagging in Affinity Photo with M3 MacBook Pro

Just to report that I have the same issue on my MacBook pro M3 like demonstrated in this youtube video.

This fixed the problem:
Disable - Automatically adjust brightness under screen preferences

I'm not sure how this related but I hope that the Affinity team can investigated and provide a fix.

Thanks for letting us know and we're glad to hear this has resolved the issue for you.

I can confirm that this issue has been resolved in Affinity V2, unfortunately however the fix could not be included in V1 and we're no longer actively developing V1.

I hope this clears things up.

Thank you for the quick reply, I just upgraded all the apps. I can't wait to see what's coming next to Affinity, hopefully more UI/UX tools. 😁
