Unable to resize imported image

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I am putting together a book and I am on the author page, trying to insert my photo. In this instance, I notice that the image is getting directly imported to the page, rather than me being able to drag and place the image. As a result, I am unable to resize the image. There are no edges that I can drag around to re-size. Do you know what has happened and how I can fix it?

How were you trying to insert your photo? Did you use a Picture Frame, then use the Place Command? This seems to work for me. Doing so, you have adjustment handles, arrows allowing for resize, moving the image within the frame.

Yes, that's how I have been doing but today it's just not working. Not sure what's going on. I can't even select the imported image.
