Yes, that's exactly what I did, and it wouldn't open that object in a new window for me to place the image. When I double-click, it just zooms in extremely closely See attached. So, what I am doing is: 1. Double-click the page icon (like you did) 2. On the enlarged/zoomed page, I PLACE the image (drop and drag) 3. The image is within the page, but since the image is a strict square and the mockup page is curved, I cannot get it to fit. So, as I drag it around to find by pulling the edges, things get cut off. See 2nd image attached. Is there a way, I can get the image to just to "fill" up?

I have an Adobe PSD template of the inside of a book mockup. I am trying to place an image into the page, but I can't get it to fill that page. When I place an image, and drag and rotate it around, it won't position properly or words/illustrations get cut off. The PSD instructions for Photoshop says: Select Smart Object > Layer > Smark Objects > Edit Contents And basically you place the image in it, and it takes the shape of the page. How do I do it in Affinity Publisher 2?

Hi, I am creating a kid's picture book and as per my affinity publisher setup, it has 32 pages. Page 1: Title page Page 2: Copyright info Page 3: Dedication Pages 4 - 31: illustration per page (each page has 1 PNG image containing 2 images to spread over 2 pages) Page 32: Empty white page But it's getting rejected by Amazon KDP with the following error: What am I doing wrong with my page setup? Currently, I have a 2-page master file, so the pages are next to each other, as you would see in a book. I think the technical word is, "spread". Looks like KDP is reading it as 1 page, and hence 17 pages. I am still a newbie to Affinity and indie-authoring but the last 2 books I practiced on, was pretty much the same setup (2 pages view) and everything was fine. Looking forward to hearing from you and thank you

I am creating a children's book and each page has a full illustration. My artist provided the images for a spread as a single PNG image - meaning 2 images (meant for 2 pages) on a single png. I want to cut/crop them into 2 separate individual files. How do I do that on Affinity Publisher? I used the crop tool but it's deleting 1 page while deleting the other. I just want a simple cut through the middle. Thank you

Text wrapping in Affinity Publisher
mdesigns replied to mdesigns's topic in Affinity on Desktop Questions (macOS and Windows)
That's exactly what I am looking for but it just won't work at my end like that. The image doesn't move and the Move tool also changes shape to a slanted pointer. I spent hours yesterday to get it sorted, and now I've gone ahead and closed the project without the wrap I will come back here later with a video screenshot if I have time. But I thank you so much for taking the time to post your video! It's very helpful. -
Page not reaching the bleed
mdesigns replied to mdesigns's topic in Affinity on Desktop Questions (macOS and Windows)
So, if I leave it as it is, it's OK? The previous page extends out all the way, but not this page. -
In the attachment, is it important for the white page (author bio) to be taken up to the bleed when the previous page is? If so, I am unable to make it bigger, as I think it has to do with the master file. I had another option to insert a new white rectangle and then drag that over. Is that OK? If I just leave it as it is, will that be a problem?

Unable to resize imported image

Yes, that's how I have been doing but today it's just not working. Not sure what's going on. I can't even select the imported image. -
Unable to resize imported image
mdesigns replied to mdesigns's topic in Affinity on Desktop Questions (macOS and Windows)
I sorted the issue. Although it doesn't import the way I want, I was able to resize it using the Move Tool. -
Hi, I am putting together a book and I am on the author page, trying to insert my photo. In this instance, I notice that the image is getting directly imported to the page, rather than me being able to drag and place the image. As a result, I am unable to resize the image. There are no edges that I can drag around to re-size. Do you know what has happened and how I can fix it?

Hi @walt.farrell, I imported a Word Manuscript as it is, and converted all content to "Body" Text Style (lost the styling from Word though). So, I hadn't applied the Text Style yet. Also, I am changing the individual dates in a year (365 of them!). So, if I change the style for 01 January (as Heading 2), how do I use Find-Replace to change the remaining 364 dates? I could change for each month (12 times) and then the dates (30). Is that right? Also, when I opened Find-Replace, I could not find the option to use a Text Style to replace. How is that done?
