  1. What Application are you using?
    Affinity Designer.

  2. Are you using the latest release version?
    Version 2.4.0.

  3. Can you reproduce it?
Seems to happen every time, at least for the time being.

  4. Does it happen for a new document? If not can you upload a document that shows the problem?
A document with which the problems shows up for me is attached.

  5. What is your operating system and version (Windows 11, OSX Ventura, iOS 16 etc)?
    macOS 14.3.1 (23D60) on a MacBook Pro 16-inch, 2021, with an Apple M1 Max.

  6. Is hardware acceleration (in Preferences > Performance) ON or OFF ? (and have you tried the other setting?)
The issue happens with all accelerated graphics options (OpenGL (Basic), OpenGL, and Metal).

  7. What happened for you (and what you expected to happen)?
I created a triangle and zoomed in into it. I started to see strange graphical glitches appearing and disappearing at different zoom levels.

  8. Provide a recipe for creating the problem (step-by-step what you did).
It seems enough to zoom in sufficiently closely, perhaps so that the pixel grid becomes visible, but the exact appearance of the glitches is a bit hit and miss, and I suppose they might blend in better or worse with the rest of the graphic.

  9. Screenshots (very handy) or a screen capture/video.
    A screen capture is attached.

  10. Any unusual hardware (like tablets or external monitors or drives that may affect things) or relevant other applications like font managers or display managers.
None that I am aware of, at least; using just the laptop on its own.

  11. Did this same thing used to work and if so have you changed anything recently? (software or hardware)
Not sure. I have not used older versions of Designer.

Thank you for your report it looks as though this is being caused by the stroke alignment being set to inside. I have logged this with our developers to be fixed in the future.

Thanks
