Frank@SC
I cannot open a formerly created publisher file any more. The error message says that a different person is using the file. But I am the only person here that works with the Affinity software package at all. I am using Affinity Publisher 2.4.0 on a PC with Windows 10 Pro 22H2. The corrupted file has been made with an older laptop PC and has been copied to the new one. Can you restore it ? When you have an Affinity V2 file open, a hidden companion ~lock file is maintained alongside it to record the fact that it is open, and with the system name and name of the user. This does not indicate the file is corrupted. Where is your file located, and have you looked there to see if a lock file exists?
