Hussard64
I try to configure the footnotes of my documents. But as you can see on the screenshot for the first note left, the space between the text and the footnote is large enough while on the right there is no space at all. Why do I have such difference with the same settings?
MikeTO
Isn't the extra space because the footnotes aren't aligned to the same baseline grid as the body text? For example, if the body text is 12 on 14, 12 pt type with 14 pt leading, but the footnotes are 8 on 10, 8 pt type with 10 point leading, you will end up with varying gaps above the footnote rule. if this isn't the issue, could you upload a test document? Good luck. Hussard64
Dear Mike, The baseline of text and footnote are of course different due to the size of the font but I think I understood. When you define a footnote you can adapt in the Positioning section the note position and it was before Below column and I change it to Below text and define a minimum gap before.
