philipt18 Posted February 5 Share Posted February 5 Right now it seems that when Publisher groups page ranges in the Index, it cuts off the range at the end of a Section. I'd like to suggest allowing the cut off to be by Story or by Document as well. This allows much more flexibility. Sections can be used for various purposes, not all that map appropriately to index page groupings. For example, in the book I'm working on now I'm using Section titles to fill in the header text on the page. So while in a chapter, if the header changes (which it sometimes does on every page in a chapter), the index page grouping gets broken up and the pages get shown individually instead of being grouped.
