What kind of hyperlinks are you using that have problems?

When i try to combine 2 projects with hyperlinks (to certain pages within the project) i have tried it from the pages tab to "insert pages from a file"...

so both of the "combined" projects have hyperlinks to certain pages within the same project -> for example: Project A Page 1 has Hyperlinks to Project A Page 3,4,5,6,... and Project B has Hyperlinks from Page 1 to Project B Page 2,3,4,5,6,...

Best Wishes. And thank you for you time

Hyperlinks to pages are to that specific page by number. You will mess them up even within a single file if you add or delete pages before the hyperlinked page, as the links will go to the current page numbered "n", not to the original page.

You should probably create anchors to an object or text at the top of the page, and hyperlink to the anchors, if you want to be able to combine files as you're trying to do.

Thats bad. I have some projects with more than 600 hyperlinks and i want to add them together. Interestingly i can do that with PDFsam. So i have to think about a workaround.

probably Affinity can add an option to keep hyperlinks project specific, so that merging/combining will not cause a mess

II haven't tried it for this purpose, but perhaps the Books feature would work better in your case.

I am having a similar issue. I am trying to create a digital calendar. I have it set up using anchors as suggested above. The the "go to hyperlink" pages are correct, however, the anchors are lost. Thus the links will not work. Any suggestions or "How-To" video references I can look at? Thank you

Welcome to the Serif Affinity forums.

The earlier discussion involved a workflow of manually combining two Publisher files.

I suspect you're not doing that, but perhaps using Data Merge, instead? Can you confirm that?
