mialse
Hi, as I use mainly old lenses with simple adapters, I need to set manually which lens I was using for correction in the raw-developer ("persona"). On Windows this is very simple (Affinity Photo 1). But on the iPad (Affinity Photo 2), I could nowhere find the option to set a lens; the field in question is just grey... Can you help me or, directed to the developers, can you please implement this crucial option, please? Thanks a lot, Jeremias
Staff Lee D Posted January 29 Staff Share Posted January 29 Hi @mialse Welcome to the forums. On iPad the lens correction is auto applied within the Develop persona if the lens information is available within the images EXIF data. You can manually apply a lens profile but it has to be done using the Lens Correction filter within the Photo persona.

Hello, I have a Ricoh GR III camera, and when I open the DNG in my IPad Affinity it does not detect the lens profile. I have an XML file that another forum member gave me and I don't know if putting it in a folder would force it to be recognized. Then if I have to add it by hand in photo persona, I would like to know the steps for the iPad. Thank you very much Silvia
Staff Lee D Posted September 20 Staff Share Posted September 20 @selenita The iPad version of Photo doesn't have the option to manually add a lens profile that's available on desktops. If you apply the Lens Correction adjustment from the Photo persona, the Ricoh GR III is listed in the two available dropdown menus (camera/lens).
