......cause I have a deadline.

Finally love the fact that I don't have to use PS. On that note.....Im a 3d designer and just rendered an image which I have exported to AP. The image has an alpha channel. How do I select the the alpha so it can I make the selection accurate?

My objective is to put a backplate in the background but i don't want it to look like I just place it there.

If I don't use the alpha , just putting the backplate as a new layer makes it look horrible.

Thanks in advance

Hi nickp100,

Welcome to the forum.

This link is to our video tutorial on creating an alpha mask using channels, if you are still encountering issues please let me know.

Looking at your screenshot, I am curious as to the blue line going across your screen.  I am wondering if you background sky layer doesn't need to just be moved up?  Or may resized?
