gaiaswind
Hi y'all! So I'm currently working on my thesis layout via publisher (going great, btw). One of the aspects is accessible design in printing. So I was wondering - wouldn't it be great to be able to test-view the document in different color-blindness modes? Or even visual-impairment? I know there is workarounds for this. I just believe preparing good tools in-software to produce accessible design shows how much the company behind the tool values or at least acknowledges these principles. What do you think? GripsholmLion
I'm very late in contributing to this (I watched your post at the time and then... forgot). You may not know that the default LUTs in Photo – if you have it in addition to Publisher – contain simulations of Deuteranopia, Tritanopia, and Protanopia. However, having never used Publisher, I don't know offhand whether the LUT adjustment is available directly in its Photo persona. There is also a much rarer group of conditions which are categorised as monochromacy, but they should be easier to approximate with a neutral B+W adjustment which preserves brightness values. Yes, they are available in the Photo Persona in Publisher. gaiaswind
Thanks, you both! As I am not really working with images that much so I don't really use photo (or its persona). I guess I will check it out. walt.farrell
