Sreng Pagna Posted January 18, 2024 Posted January 18, 2024 I worked with PSD file because I need to PSD file to be used in my animation software. Look at the video attached in this feedback. As in the image attached in this feedback, I already checked the "Enable 'save' over imported psd files" in the preference. Whether I clicked Ctrl+S or went to Files > Save, I still not be able to save the file. Affinity Photo keep as asking me whether I wanted to save the file or not. I could not even close the file. When clicked on close, Affinity Photo asked me to save, but when clicked on "Yes" to save, it did not save. Until I clicked on "No" that I could close the file. However, after closing the file, nothing have been saved, so I lost the work on that file. Is it a bug or is there any setting I set incorrectly? Thank you. Staff Gabe Posted January 18, 2024 Staff Posted January 18, 2024 Have you opened that PSD in another app in the meantime? I can only replicate the issue if that PSD becomes read only after you open it in our app Sreng Pagna 1 Quote
Staff Affinity Info Bot Posted January 18, 2024 Staff Posted January 18, 2024 An issue raised in this thread ("No warning when trying to Save over read only psd") has now been reported to the developers by the testing team (Ref: AF-1804). Thank you very much for reporting this issue to us. Sreng Pagna 1 Quote
Sreng Pagna Posted January 18, 2024 Author Posted January 18, 2024 @GabeThank you, I did not open the file in other application. @Serif Info Bot Thank you for information. I have attached 2 videos because the first one is recorded using default window capture and it does not capture any pop up window. To be sure for the problem please look at video second video that I recorded with OBS studio. Thank you very much. Quote 2D Cutout animator
Staff Gabe Posted January 18, 2024 Staff Posted January 18, 2024 When that happens, can you manually check that file in Explorer and see if it's read only? Sreng Pagna 1 Quote
Sreng Pagna Posted January 18, 2024 Author Posted January 18, 2024 It have not happened again after I restarted my pc. I guess if I did not restart my pc, the problems will be there. I had not checked the file before I restarted, but after I see your message, I checked, it is not red only. Quote 2D Cutout animator
